An easy-care cabin within a naturally wilding garden, it's the perfect base from which to launch into your next Golden Bay adventure.

Totara Avenue is about 10 mins drive north of Collingwood, it is a quiet cul-de-sac with all sorts of Cribs and Bach's tucked away under the canopy of Totara trees. Make no mistake, the aerial photos from the 1940's & 1980's show that this tidal inlet has remained unchanged for over 80 years. It is anyone's guess why the Title was surveyed to include 500sqm of mudflat - but it makes an excellent cricket pitch at low tide, and you can launch your kayak from the back yard at high tide.

Sitting here on the red benches, it feels like you step back in time, the pace is slower… unless you are a Tui bird swooping about guarding their territory! Kokopu Cabin comes simply furnished, awaiting your own artistic touch; bring your favourite books, a board game or two, it is easy to wind down here, very peaceful.
