Powerhouse office Ray White Ponsonby celebrated another outstanding night of auctions as six properties sold under the hammer to the tune of more than $10,400,000 yesterday.
Four more properties had sold prior to auction day making it a sensational evening with all 10 properties going to new owners and producing a 100 per cent clearance rate on the day.
“When you look at our innovative internal auction data, since the start of August, Ray White Ponsonby has achieved an exceptional auction day clearance rate of 80.4 per cent,” said Ray White New Zealand COO/Auctioneer Daniel Coulson (pictured above).
“This is an incredible figure and provides evidence that we’re still very much in a seller’s market right now. It also shows why auction, the stage for competition, produces such great results.”
The biggest sale of the day came courtesy of Salespeople Angela Saunders and Paul Grace as they sold 14A Kingsley Street (pictured above) in Westmere for $2,700,000.
“This was a great campaign with over 100 groups through the open homes and four registered buyers competing on auction day – the winning bidders were a local family,” Ms Saunders said.
The success continued for Ms Saunders as she then sold 3/14A Macmurray Road in Remuera for $1,520,000 having attracted four registered and active buyers to the property.
Elsewhere, Salespeople Elaine Ferguson and Matt Johnson successfully managed the sale of 2/22 Regina Street in Westmere for $1,520,000, and that was followed by Salesperson Robert Munro’s $1,480,000 sale of Titirangi’s 9 Tawini Road – a record price for the street.
