Suzie is an eastern suburbs local through and through. Born and raised in Glendowie she has lived in and around the bays and Remuera all her life. Growing up in a family with great work ethics and a practical approach to any challenge, Suzie is the sort of independent person for whom there’s no such word as “can’t”.
After graduating from an Auckland business school, Suzie secured a number of positions in secretarial and sales work. She had always loved travel and with her outgoing manner and warm personality, Air New Zealand had no hesitation in snapping her up for a role as a cabin crew member. She rose through the ranks to become Assistant Purser on the 747s and then Purser on the 767s. She travelled extensively all over the world and after 15 successful years in travel, opened a new chapter of her life upon the arrival of first her son Tyler and then daughter Payton.
Building a home in Remuera lit up her passion for property and following a chance meeting with an agent at an open home, she was urged to move into real estate. For 2 years she worked successfully at a boutique agency and then in another moment of serendipity, she ran into Megan Jaffe at a property in Parnell who asked her to come and join with her. Megan Jaffe Real Estate was in its infancy back then and Suzie joined the fledgling business in a move that set her on a course to be part of Ray White Remuera – now a stunning success story on the Remuera real estate landscape. Suzie is immensely proud to have been there at the beginning and today enjoys the loyalty of her many clients and respect of her colleagues as a dedicated real estate professional.
Suzie still lives in heartland Remuera – it has been her home now for decades – she knows it like the back of her hand. She loves spending time with family and friends, adores cooking and entertaining, pilates and enjoys walks down at the eastern bays waterfront when she can fit it in around her busy career.
Her goal is always to ensure that her clients feel safe and secure with the experience of buying andselling a home – her relaxed, friendly and easy manner makes this a certainty.
