Reuben van Dorsten

Reuben and Alex made the move out of the big smoke of Auckland and to Whangamata at the end of 2019. Even though much of the world has been turned on its head since then, from the moment they left Auckland they have not looked back.

Reuben has a background in film and television and has also spent quite a few years traveling in various parts of the world. Always though, he has considered the Coromandel a place where he truly belonged. So when the opportunity arose to move here with his family, he leaped at the chance.

Keen on all things ocean and outdoors Reuben can be found in the waves, on the beach with the kids (and now the dog Luna), or on the golf course when he is not in his office. Being involved in local sports and recreation clubs has helped ease the transition into the community and being able to help his agents grow and succeed has been a hugely rewarding experience.

Living on the Coromandel is a dream come true.
