After being plunged into level 4 lockdown, Ray White New Zealand quickly re-launched its world-class online training program, first developed during last year’s lockdowns.

Kicking off on August 23, the first week of virtual training included an array of inspiring headline speakers from Golf Warehouse CEO Eric Faesen Kloet to, independent economist Tony Alexander, and renowned industry speaker Tom Panos.

Ray White New South Wales auctioneer and chief performance officer, Tim Snell spoke on the dangers of postponing during COVID-19 lockdowns and the importance of “keeping the wheels turning” during a session hosted by COO of Ray White New Zealand, Daniel Coulson.

Ray White New Zealand national training manager, Ben East, interviewed Ray White Kingsland owner and Chairman’s Elite salesperson, Tim Hawes, on his leadership and how he continues momentum in his business.

The virtual training sessions also included Canterbury rugby coaches, Reuben Thorne, Mark Brown, and Terry Williamson, hosted by Claire Morris.

With the first week of 25 virtual training sessions seeing over 3000 attendees, the next 25 sessions are kicking off with a bang.

Guest speakers include internationally renowned speaker, trainer, and coach Josh Phegan; New Zealand rower Hamish Bond, Briscoes CEO Rod Duke, Sir John Key, Resilience Institute speaker Sandy Hall, and award-winning motivational speaker David Nottage.

Ray White Group managing director Dan White will be interviewed by Ray White New Zealand CAO Treena Drinnan.

CEO of Growth for Ray White Group Mark Mcleod, a longstanding mentor for the Ray White network, will also join the virtual platform.

Ray White Invercargill general manager Lachie Shannon said there had been an exceptional collection of topics and sessions.

“The sessions have allowed us to critically reflect on our process, gain insight and inspiration from high achievers in the industry, and ultimately, maintain levels of motivation and momentum that would otherwise be highly compromised,” Mr. Shannon said.

“We are very lucky to have such a proactive and pragmatic leadership group that prioritise learning.

“Buy-in has been high from our team and it’s created flow-on conversations and actions that will hold our business in good stead as we transition out of lockdown.”

Ray White Bishopdale and Strowan business owner Barry Ellis said the Ray White virtual training was an incredibly valuable resource for all members of the Ray White group and like nothing else he had seen.

“The content is relevant and inspiring with plenty of practical ideas and suggestions while the variation keeps it interesting and goes beyond just real estate,” Mr. Ellis said.

“We have found that the virtual calendar caters for everyone in the group regardless of their position and all of our team have benefited from the sessions they have attended.

“I have also found that the virtual calendar has become the platform for each team member to structure their day and is a practical way to keep everyone in the team engaged.

“Also because the sessions are recorded, we can revisit them in team workshops when we next get together in the office.”

Ray White Mt Eden owner Jared Cooksley said the virtual calendar was highly valuable for his team.

“We are proud to be part of the Ray White family and the virtual platform has ensured we all stay well connected,” Mr. Cooksley said.
