Ray White New Zealand was proud to celebrate its members at the REINZ Awards for Excellence last night, after having its highest number of finalists to date.
With 17 finalists across 12 awards categories, Ray White Remuera took out the top gong for Small Agency of the Year, while Ray White Takanini agent Gabriel Elkhishin won the award for Residential Salesperson of the Year – Rising Star.
Ray White New Zealand chief executive Daniel Coulson congratulated the winners on the monumental success.
“Ray White Remuera is a renowned leader in the industry and we are proud to celebrate the formal acknowledgement of their success by their peers. The team continues to raise the bar in any market conditions and their consistency underpins their success. This includes being Ray White’s number one office internationally for the past eight consecutive years” Mr Coulson said.
“Gabriel Elkhishin consistently delivers outstanding results for his clients. We are so proud of his achievements and congratulate him on being recognised as a rising star in the industry.
“The real estate market over the past twelve months has required exceptional skills to navigate. Our members have been able to deliver great results for their clients and we are proud that they have been recognised by the industry as market leaders.”
Ray White New Zealand chief agency officer Treena Drinnan said both the winners and finalists should be extremely proud of their achievements.
“Being recognised as winners and finalists at this level is testament to the tireless work our people undertake every day,” she said.
“We continue to strive to achieve great outcomes for our clients and we are honoured to be acknowledged among the very best in the industry.”
Ray White Remuera business owners Megan Jaffe, John Bowring, and Thomas Farmer shared their excitement about the win.
“We are enormously proud of our team for their consistent work over time, and we’re very grateful for the people who have entrusted us with the safe sale of their home,” Ms Jaffe said.
Mr Farmer said: “We’re really proud of the team for the effort that they’ve put in and it’s a reflection of the great work they’ve done over the past year, and we look forward to continued success within the team.”
Mr Elkhishin said his win was a complete shock, but he was excited to be recognised.
“It was my first full financial year in real estate, so this is huge for me and it’s great to see all my hard work pay off,” Mr Elkhishin said.
“It was a big year and it was a lot of hard work so I hoped I would be recognised in some capacity, but I had no idea I was even nominated for the REINZ award, it was a huge surprise!”
