The Ray White New Plymouth office has enjoyed excellent success under the hammer at their latest in-room event as the office sold six of their seven available properties for $2.657 million.
“The popularity of auction as the method of sale is spreading across the country as sellers see value in the competitive environment it creates,” said Ray White New Zealand Auctioneer Ben East (above), who successfully called all six of the auctions.
“We’re now seeing auctions being called in regions we’ve never seen before and that’s testament to the outcomes our members have been able to achieve for our valued clients.”
Arguably the stand-out came courtesy of Ray White New Plymouth Salesperson Bianca Brown as she successfully managed the $750,000 sale of 19 Jersey Place (above) in Bell Block.
“Bell Block is a sought-after location that’s up-and-coming with new developments. We had more than 25 groups through during the campaign and both of the registered buyers actively competed to drive a great outcome for our seller,” Ms Brown said.
“There was a mixture of demographics with first home buyers, young families, downsizers and investors all showing an interest in this great property.”
Another highlight came in Westown as Ray White New Plymouth Salespeople Karen Taylor and Rebecca Hartley-Smith successfully sold 117 Seaview Road (above) for $492,000.
“This one was a fantastic campaign with groups coming through the open homes and two of the four registered bidders actively competing against each-other,” Ms Taylor said.
“There was high attendance throughout with investors, first home buyers, and family home buyers looking to secure a property with so much potential. The Taranaki real estate market continues to boom with pent-up demand.”
