I Returned home to Northland in 2007 after spending a temporary 15 years in Auckland and have experience in Sales, banking, and management roles, along with running a successful corporate based business with my husband Tony for over 9 years in Auckland.
Being a water person, I am fully aware of the magic the Bay of Islands holds, I enjoy diving, snorkelling, kayaking, walking and paragliding.

We first began our hunt for a holiday home in the Te Uenga Bay region of the Bay Of Islands in October 2010. We were put in touch with Maria Turner who, we quickly found out, was the local "oracle", having made this area her home. She kept in constant contact, by phone and email, to update us on what was happening real estate-wise - even when there was nothing new to report! Our "wish list" was specific and Maria kept us informed - she was our eyes and ears as we were very keen buyers but lived three and a half hours away. After looking at three properties seriously we finally made our purchase in April 2012.
