Janet Watters

Janet heads up our Admin Team who ensure the smooth creation, management and production of all things 'admin' behind the scenes at our busy office. As ‘Operations Manager’ her primary role is to oversee the quality, compliance, training and general running of the office, which she excels at!

Joining the company in 2003 as part of our busy reception team, Janet has proven herself to be hard-working and loyal with an attention to detail and simple ‘can-do’ attitude that saw her being promoted to set up what has evolved into the Value Team.  This is now an integral part of the business, providing dedicated support to the agents, managing their listings and property marketing and allowing them time to do what they do best out there in the field.  

Janet considers the Ray White team as her second family and is fiercely loyal to them.  She loves the Ray White philosophy of being ahead of the game in technology, quality and compliance and the way that the business continues to evolve.  With its customer centric focus, and internal culture of sharing Janet knows that Ray White, at the end of the day, is all about the people.  

An adventurer at heart, Janet left New Zealand in 1994 for the typical antipodean two year ‘OE’ ... 8½ years later she finally made it back to these shores.

During that time she worked in a wide variety of jobs, including four years in the Western Highlands of Scotland managing the ‘Remotest Pub in Mainland Britain (Guinness Records 1996)', and being the first ever female pilot of a historic North Devon ferry dating back to the Doomsday Book.  A highlight of her time abroad was six months spent travelling west to east through Africa.  

For all her adventures she says the best thing that ever happened during her travels was meeting her ‘Scottish Souvenir’, now her husband and father of their two teenage children, Ross.

Janet can often be found riding her bike, tramping up Parihaka, or pottering in the veggie garden.  At the end of the day she loves nothing more than enjoying a glass of wine while Ross creates culinary delights in the kitchen.
