Ray White Papakura Salesperson Nikki Dorrington has started life at Australasia’s largest real estate group with a bang as her very first auction campaign achieved a terrific outcome for her seller with the hammer falling at 71 per cent over the property’s CV.
The three-bedroom, two-bathroom 1930’s bungalow home at 7 Stewart Avenue(above) in Panmure attracted over 100 parties through the campaign. A whopping 20 registered bidders turned out on auction day and it eventually sold for $1.452 million.
“There was a huge amount of interest throughout the campaign and the property attracted a real mix of buyers,” Ms Dorrington said.
“We had a lot of young couples, first home buyers, and also in the mix were the downsizers wanting to move closer towards town.
“A lot of buyers were shopping in the $1-$1.1-million-dollar range, so you can imagine how many of the registered bidders were disheartened when bidding opened up at $1.2 million.
“I’m just thrilled for the buyers who have been looking for a while now. With adult sons and grandchildren not far from their new home, their search is over, and they can now unwind in a prime position in Panmure.
“Panmure is a huge up and coming area in the outer of Auckland City. It really is an exciting part of Auckland to be moving into.
“It’s close to the water, has lovely parks, and is a stone’s-throw away from the all new Lunn Ave development and offerings and the Sylvia Park shopping centre.
“This property was a great buy and I was very proud to be marketing it for my amazing vendors who are onto their new adventure as a family.”
