When we bought the property at auction we were impressed how Elaine appeared to be working entirely for the vendor at the time and at the same time we felt she was entirely up front with us as a purchaser. I am writing to recommend Elaine Ferguson as a Real Estate agent to handle the selling of your property. Elaine was highly recommended to me by a trusted colleague, and in turn, I have no hesitation in highly recommending her. Elaine always presented us with what she felt was the best way to market our house – not necessarily the most expensive. She didn't push for extensive marketing, instead wanting budget put into staging the house. Her design skills came into play on how the house was dressed, and I have no doubt this contributed highly to the success of the sale. All through this nerve wracking process, Elaine was transparent, efficient and highly motivated. I never felt she "sugar coated" anything, as was the case when the market climate changed between the appraisal and actually going to market. Her communication was outstanding. E mails, texts and calls were always returned promptly. With her abilities, adaptability, and dedication, Elaine will do the very best job possible of selling your property.

I would highly recommend Elaine as a salesperson to anyone looking for an agent with whom to sell their house. The initial contact we had with Elaine was to obtain an appraisal on our house. We were amazed at the speed at which this was finished, and the detail contained within it. It gave us a very clear picture of how our property would sit on the market. It was a couple of months after this when we decided to sell and no hesitation in going back to Elaine. We had to give our tenants notice, as this was done just before Christmas, Elaine helped them immensely in the process of finding a new house to rent. This enabled us to realistically achieve a desirable auction date. Elaine also recommended a handyman for a few remedial jobs, and he proved to be a good choice. Elaine conducted herself very professionally throughout the sales process and we were very happy with the process and the price she obtained for our house.

I want to acknowledge Elaine for the work that she is doing. I recently purchased a unit off her in Grey Lynn 1/8. She was great to work with and made it easy for us to get the deal in this very tricky market. Her approach and style was fantastic. She reads her customer like she has known them forever. It is a great skill to have to build trustful relationships very quickly and she does that. I have seen her working on other open houses and the same consistent approach to getting the best for the vendor and purchaser is present. You have a great asset in Elaine as a Sales person.
