Dennis Coombes

Dennis Coombes is the “Property Professional” who understands the plans and dreams of those who buy and sell lifestyle blocks.  He has a proud professional record, having achieved the sale of many high-value rural properties. His in-depth knowledge of this market sector helps him meet his clients’ requirements. As a lifestyle block owner himself, he enjoys the benefits that rural living has brought to his family. Alongside his extensive career in real estate, Dennis also turned his hand to raising pigs and calves and also developed a 20 acre Kiwifruit Orchard in Kati Kati in the 1980’s.  

Dennis’s real estate credentials are impeccable.  Born and bred in Hamilton, he understands the local market. Making his first foray into real estate in the 1990’s, Dennis began by selling residential property and, soon after, gained a well-earned reputation for his work in the rural sector. He gained his National Diploma in Real Estate and in 2004 became a shareholder and director of Online Realty Limited, trading as Ray White Hamilton. As the company’s leading Auctioneer, Dennis has frequently donated his skills to cancer-related charities and school fundraising activites.  Recently the lure of country properties has attracted him back into the area with which he is so familiar - that of rural property sales.

Dennis has a large family with 2 daughters, 3 sons and 6 grandchildren which keeps him very busy in his spare time.

Outdoor interests loom large in Dennis’s life. He is an expert fly fisherman.  A past councillor of the NZ Clay Target Association and he was North Island Vice President for a year. He is also a life member of the Waikato Gun Club, which he joined at the age of 18. He loves to travel - but his heart remains in the rural Waikato.
