Australasia’s leading property group welcomes Nerida Conisbee

The Ray White Group is excited to announce it has appointed Nerida Conisbee as its first ever Chief Economist. 

Nerida Conisbee is a highly regarded economist, with a specific expertise in residential and commercial property. She is currently the most quoted property commentator in Australia and a sought after public speaker, writer and columnist.

Ms Conisbee has been the Chief Economist for the REA Group for the past five years, and is set to join the leading property group in June. She is also the Deputy Chair of the Construction Forecasting Council and is on the South East Queensland Housing Supply Expert Panel. 

“Nerida’s decision is a huge endorsement for everyone in the Ray White Group, and helps our customers be informed not influenced,” said Ray White Group Managing Director Dan White.

Mr White said he was delighted to welcome Ms Conisbee to lead a team to create value from Ray White data and market information.

With more than 20 years of property research experience throughout Asia Pacific, Ms Conisbee said she was looking forward to working at Ray White. 

“There has never been a time where there has been more interest and speculation in the property market. Consumers want real-time insights and I am keen to work with Ray White’s members – all 10,000 of them,” she said.

Ms Conisbee’s experience covers residential and commercial property from both an investor and occupier’s perspective. She holds a Bachelor of Commerce with Honours and Masters of Commerce, majoring in Econometrics, from the University of Melbourne.
