There is now no ability for Councils to issue interim Code Compliance Certificates, only final Code Compliance Certificates at the conclusion of all the work covered by a building consent. The Council has advised that either an application for CCC needs to be filed for the entire subdivision and they all need to pass an inspection, or apply to Council for a separate building consent for this property only.
