The partnership may be considered a homecoming, as Anne Duncan commenced as a foundation member of Ray White in 1993 and went on to be recognised as one of the leading sales people throughout New Zealand during her 10-year tenure with Ray White. In March 2004 Ms Duncan decided to commence her own agency in the high profile location of New North Road under her personal brand Anne Duncan Real Estate.
The Anne Duncan name has been synonymous with real estate success in Mt Albert and surrounding suburbs over the past 30 years. Not only does Ms Duncan continue with her own sales success, but part of the growth of the agency has included Des Ryder, the director of The Property Managers, who has established a successful property management portfolio under the Anne Duncan brand name.
“When I opened the business in 2004, I wanted it to be a place that recognised the quality of service to our clients and, just as importantly, a business where our people can reach their full potential and continue to grow through personalised relationships, which have been the hallmark of our business since we first began close to 20 years ago,” Ms Duncan said.
“We see joining Ray White as a very exciting step. It partners our local brand with the national and global brand of Ray White.
“It provides us with extraordinary resources and technology that backs up our local and hard-working team. I’m so proud of what our team has achieved and we believe this will only grow in partnering with Ray White.”
Ray White Group Managing Director Dan White was recently in Auckland to welcome Ms Duncan and her team.
He said that partnering with strong local businesses is key to the ongoing success of Ray White throughout New Zealand.
“Anne’s team is a strong local boutique business that represent their local community so well,” Mr White said.
“We are proud as a company to be invited to partner with Anne and her team to collectively grow the market presence and provide infrastructure for the entire team of Anne Duncan.”
Ray White New Zealand CEO Daniel Coulson welcomed Ms Duncan on behalf of the group, and said he was so proud to be partnering with the Anne Duncan Real Estate team.
“The business that Anne leads is not only a family business, with Anne’s daughters Emma and Helen playing a pivotal role, but it’s a business that has a team with a long tenure and a wealth of experience which shows the relationship that Anne has based on loyalty and commitment together with sales success,” Mr Coulson said.
Mr Ryder, who is the director of the property management side of the agency, said partnering with Ray White would provide a framework that would continue to allow the growth of the business which was achieved through personalised service and commitment to their landlords and tenants.
“Our team is one of the most experienced and dedicated property management teams in Auckland,” he said.
“We pride ourselves on the service and the commitment we offer each landlord when looking after their property.
“In partnering with Ray White, this will give us additional services to be able to serve our landlords and tenants at an even higher level.”
Anne Duncan Real Estate has a sales division of 16 and, during2022, completed over $115 million in sales. The property management division led by Des Ryder has a team of nine and manages a property portfolio of 800 properties representing $1 billion in value.
