Amere De Smidt

Amere, the Property Management Coordinator for Ray White Mount and Papamoa, brings a wealth of diverse experiences to her role. Born and raised in South Africa, she studied at The Aleit Academy, where she earned a 3-year Event Management Diploma, followed by a Project Management course at the University of Cape Town. In February 2023, Amere made the big move to New Zealand, settling in Thames and working as an administrator and customer service assistant at Toyota. In June 2024, she relocated to the beachside community of Papamoa, where she thrives in the area's outdoor lifestyle.

With a strong skill set that includes being organised, detail-oriented, and reliable, Amere is a natural problem solver. She finds property management particularly rewarding because it offers constant challenges and a fast-paced environment that keeps her engaged and learning every day. Amere also enjoys traveling, outdoor adventures, and spending quality time with friends and family at regular BBQs, all while enjoying her passion for baking and cooking. Plus, she loves spending time on the farm with her dog, Kalahari.

As a multilingual individual, Amere speaks Afrikaans, English, and even a bit of Xhosa and Sesotho, adding further depth to her ability to connect with a diverse range of people.
