For the fifth season in a row, Ray White will be the exclusive agency partner for Three’s The Block NZ.
Back on screens for its 10th season, The Block NZ: Redemption is sure to present some exciting twists and turns.
This year’s season will be heading north of Auckland to the beachside suburb of Orewa.
Ray White New Zealand chief agency officer Treena Drinnan said she was excited to see the show head to an area close to her heart.
“After a record-breaking year in season nine, almost two years in the making due to disruptions from the COVID-19 pandemic, we are excited to be partnering with The Block NZ once again,” Ms. Drinnan said.
“Orewa is a growing beachside suburb on the Hibiscus Coast, an area I have a deep affinity with having grown up, raised a family, and lived my entire life here.
“Whilst formerly known as a hot spot for retirees and holidaymakers the demographic is changing, as is the dynamic of Orewa township, with bars, restaurants, boutique shopping, and art galleries.
“Substantial neighbouring suburbs with extensive residential housing development fuel the local business district.
Ms. Drinnan said the properties would appeal to a wide variety of purchasers given their outlook and location 25min north of Auckland, with easy access to the motorway yet close proximity to the water.
“It is also an ideal place to raise a family away from the hustle and bustle of Auckland CBD with many quality educational institutions ranging from preschool through to high school,” she said.
“I can vouch for these having attended locally myself.”
This year, Ray White Orewa agents Dylan and Zoe Turner, Cindy Shine and Ethan Henning, as well as Ray White Manly and Peninsula agents Sharon Maxwell and Kirk Maxwell, and Ray White Glenfield’s Tyler Broughton and Tegan Goldsworthy, will be assisting the contestants with the sale of their renovated homes.
Mark Richardson will return as host for the series, with the builds once again being overseen by site foreman Peter Wolfkamp.
