A Tuscan-style masterpiece built just 10 years ago on Auckland’s North Shore has fetched $2.7 million at auction as the luxurious four-bedroom plus study, three-bathroom, two-car home at 215A Schnapper Rock Road sold under the hammer in Schnapper Rock.

The 392sq m property, that is set on a large section of 2,794sq m land, was marketed and sold by Ray White Pinehill Salespeople Stephen and Shaun Burnett and reflected the office’s highest sale of the year, thus far.

“This property is an absolute stand-out because of the rarely-used Hebel concrete structure and the fact that it was built in the style of American/Tuscan architecture. Simply put, this is not your average home in New Zealand,” Mr Burnett said.

“The property offered incredible panoramic views of the Lucas Creek Estuary and provided the highly sought-after privacy, peace and tranquility in the established area of Schnapper Rock.

“The home is close to all amenities, including Albany Mega Centre, Massey University, and the motorway. It’s also in the zone for Albany Junior and Senior schools and Upper Harbour Primary School, as well as being close to private education.

“The owners were incredibly happy with this outcome – the result was testament to a well-run auction campaign.

“There was some interest during the campaign that culminated in three registered buyers on the day and a couple of buyers only able to place conditional offers as back-up. Bidding got to $2.2 million before storming up to the final sale price of $2.7 million.

“It’s a truly wonderful property and our owners are delighted with the outcome, as well as the buyers being able to acquire this outstanding home.”
