Ray White Royal Oak celebrated an awesome foursome auction night yesterday as the team of Rohan Thompson and James Burry successfully sold four properties under the hammer for a combined value of $5,880,000 as the seller’s market remained red-hot in November.

Ray White New Zealand Lead Auctioneer John Bowring (above), who called all four auctions last night, lauded the process the Royal Oak office had in place for their auction campaigns.

“It has been an exceptional few months in particular for Rohan and James as they continue to achieve outstanding results for their vendors via the auction method of sale,” Mr Bowring said.

“Looking back to the beginning of September, the Royal Oak office had 52 auctions scheduled to go under the hammer, with 85.7 per cent of those properties selling via auction campaigns.”

The highest sale of the night came at 59 Rawhiti Road (above) in One Tree Hill as the three-bedroom home sold for $1,580,000 – a whopping $475,000 over its CV.

“It was another fantastic night of auctions for our vendors and Rawhiti Road was definitely the stand-out as four of the six registered buyers battled it out for a property that had been nicely renovated and landscaped with 106sqm on a half share cross lease,” Mr Thompson said.

“Four properties attracted 23 registered bidders – so anyone thinking of coming to the market before Christmas should know there’s a deep pool of finance-approved buyers,” Mr Burry said.

“Elsewhere, 3 Namata Road in Onehunga sold for $1,500,000, Mangere Bridge’s 6B Seaforth Avenue sold for $1,450,000, and finally, 44 Bel Air Drive in Hillsborough sold for $1,350,000.”
