Lockdown couldn’t stop the demand for 10 Days Bay townhouses which were all under contract just 48 hours after being listed.

Part of a boutique development scheduled to be completed in 2022, the properties overlook Wellesley College with views of Days Bay beach.

Located at Ferry Road, the development comprises three two-bedroom townhouses and seven three-bedroom townhouses.

Ray White Kemeys Brothers agent Kristin Davis said buyer interest mostly came from owner-occupiers.

“The fantastic location and the boutique development were very desirable to buyers, as well as the nice design and layout,” Ms Davis said.

“Two of the buyers were first home buyers, and others were wanting to downsize but still wanted to live in a nice location.

“I expected them to sell well, despite lockdown, because the developer, Gibbons Co, is well known for delivering a quality product and also the location.”

Ms Davis said lockdown had made the sales slightly harder, but as the townhouses weren’t built yet, buyers couldn’t view the homes in person even outside of lockdown.

She said the market was still very strong.

“It’s a very good market for quality stock,” Ms Davis said.
